eligible entity
(1) Eligible entity The term “eligible entity” means a public or nonprofit private entity, including a State or political subdivision of a State, an Indian Tribe or Tribal organization, an urban Indian organization, a community-based organization, a public health department, a free health clinic, a hospital, or a Federally-qualified health center ((as defined in section 1861(aa)(4) of the Social Security Act [ 42 U.S.C. 1395x(aa)(4) ]), or a consortium of any such entities.
